Molded out of conventional Pakistani fabrics and methods, the Bougainvillea Journal include hundreds of years old Sindhi material “Susi”, hand-woven genuine cotton known as “Khaddar,” crazily lively “Cheent” prints–known as chintz in the West– and without treatment cream shade muslin. Embroidering, hand-block create, tie-dye and hand-crushing are few of the age old methods that add decoration and structure to simple, comfortable silhouettes.
